PACT may be available in your local NHS. Here is a list of current NHS services offering PACT - Wigan, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Bury, Trafford, Stockport, East Cheshire, Heywood, Warwickshire, Peterborough, Cambridge, Oxford, London, Newcastle and North Wales.
We are gradually integrating PACT into the NHS as an evidence-based intervention accessible to everyone. We suggest first approaching your local NHS speech and language therapy department and asking them if they provide PACT and if your doctor can refer you. Many SLT departments accept self-referrals. If you can find your local SLT NHS website you may contact them directly.
If your local NHS service hasn’t heard of PACT, please feel free to forward our PACT professionals flyer (Click here) PACT flyer for parents V2022. We need as many parent advocates to help promote evidence-based PACT therapy in the NHS as possible. You may also have the choice of independent PACT therapy.
PACT is a video-based intervention; therefore, most therapists can deliver PACT remotely online, so location doesn’t necessarily need to be a leading factor in finding a therapist.
